Plant those trees! Go, Mahira, go! But notice that the "soil" is basically just sand! All of the townships have soil like that... the area is called the "Cape Flats" for a reason!

Noluthando Creche Celebration

These photos are from a celebration at the Noluthando Creche of the new construction that SAEP has just finished in their facility. They have a new building (the red one) and a new toilet block (which is by far the most exciting thing for them!). A Creche is a combination of a preschool and a daycare, for kids 0-6 years old. They are heavily subsidized by the government but are still run in terrible poverty without donors like SAEP to help them along!
