The outer skin has been pealed away from this one... and at least two of its gas bags have ruptured. It's still airborne, however, though descending in the dark.

The Messenger relates how a sudden storm destroyed a chunk of the fleet. I envision these pieces flashing before a black screen, as if illuminated by lightning. The debris can be animated blowing across the screen.
