Those are milk teeth. The man in the background supports Pepe Mujica, the Frente Amplio's presidential candidate. From what I understood, he cites the option of paying a little bit more to join a mutualista (private, non-profit health care) for his support of Mujica and the Frente. Kind of odd that he favors the left for enabling his kids to NOT use the public health system. I'm definitely still learning...
