Water is by far the most important resource to farmers in arid environments. A rolling topography allows this farmer to create dams to collect water -- this is the remaining water after nine months without rainfall. A diesel pump allows him to distribute the water throughout his 30,000+ acre farm. Hosea Kutako Airport, Namibia.
