The other canoe took on some shallow rapids that we avoided, resulting some damage to the bottom. Ria and Steph are using their Wellingtons to keep the water from rising high enough to soak our baggage.

The Rio Napo and Rio Payamino converge at Coca. We stayed about four miles up the Payamino, in two huts on a high bank overlooking the river. These are from the canoe rides there and back.
