Anna swinging into river
The local teenagers rigged up this swing over the river. None of the maneuvers executed while airborne could have been called graceful, but it was good fun. Yes, it's deep enough there to cushion the fall. The depth of the river varied quite a bit; right off of the bank was a deep, swift part that one needed to swim across rather quickly to get to a place where it was comfortable to bathe and wash clothes.
