As you can see I start off my carving the lines into plexiglass. I then paint them in color by color. I actually only had a few types of paint in my apartment -- Crimson red, yellow, and windsor blue -- and had to work with that. The same design might have been nicer with tans and pinks... but I didn't have any white.

Yes, I am bad at photographing my own art. Unfortunately I finished this at about 1 am and couldn't take it outside for natural lighting... which is obviously throwing off the colors. Anyways, I wanted to post it because I don't know when I will be able to photograph with natural lighting because of work and the season.
