High quality plexiglass that is thick enough to display at lage scales is somewhat expensive (at least for me). For this reason I bought several sheets of foot by foot, thinner black plexi before attempting a big project. I wanted to see if i could carve and then paint in a design. This is a simple design I came up with as a test.

Yes, I am bad at photographing my own art. Unfortunately I finished this at about 1 am and couldn't take it outside for natural lighting... which is obviously throwing off the colors. Anyways, I wanted to post it because I don't know when I will be able to photograph with natural lighting because of work and the season.
