Discovering a Hindu Temple Along the I-M Canal  -  Though this would not be a 'discovery' for the people who attend this temple, you can imagine my surprise at finding a Hindu temple in a wooded area near the I-M canal, which is several miles outside of Chicago. I was looking for a slip that I thought might hold several decommissioned towboats when I came across this complex. Actually, at the moment I spotted it I was photographing a wrecked boat by the canal when, through my viewfinder, I noticed the complex rising out of the woods.
