Affirmation of the Sunrise  -  This design started off as a basic form I couldn't get out of my head the last time I was kayaking in Arkansas. While there I sketched it out on regular typing paper (on top of a simple wooden board) yet, no matter how many drawings I did, I never resolved the design. I was distracted by something at the beginning of this month and wasn't able to make a 'formal' drawing until now. I still feel that it's unresolved, but it will eventually be coupled with three other drawings... so maybe its story is waiting to be finished in them? Also, I don't have a 18 X 24 scanner, so pictures of it, though they're always a little off, is the best I can post.
