And the sun begins to set... like it did so many days while I was still riding. It was a challenge to do the number of miles I'd wanted to do on a daily basis (80-100) within 12 hours of daylight on a tendency to sleep later than dawn, so I fell short quite often. I made it to my destination this day- Sebastian Inlet State Park- but had to ride into the night, and scan the side of the road for signs and addresses to get my bearings.
