2006.03.18-03.27 - Singers Balkans Tour
Bucharest and Brasov in Romania, Veliko Tarnovo and Plovdiv in Bulgaria, Istanbul in Turkey. Six concerts in three countries in eight days = lots of time on the bus (and train). But we got to look around some, too, and what we saw was an absolutely enthralling part of the world. Beautiful and suprising scenery and very nice people. Storybook-land and communist-era concrete, all mixed together.
