Longmen Grottoes (Luoyang)
Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang feature intricate carvings of primarily Buddhist figures in a cliff side. Unfortunately, Mao's Cultural Revolution caused a considerable amount of destruction to the figures, and erosion also caused lots of wear on the figures. However, they still do not fail to be magnificent.
